L'Assessorato alle Politiche Giovanili del Comune di Cagliari seleziona cinque giovani per la partecipazione al seminario Utopia 2.
Dal 18 al 21 settembre 2009 a Palma di Maiorca creatività e creazione di impresa: scambio di idee e buone pratiche per i cinque giovani selezionati che parteciperanno alle attività del seminario Utopia 2.
L'Assessorato alle Politiche Giovanili del Comune di Cagliari è tra i promotori, per il secondo anno consecutivo, del Progetto Utopia, in collaborazione con Asociaciòn de Jòvenes Empresarios de Baleares (Baleari), Gokceada Municipality (Turchia), Collectivité territorial de Corse (Corsica), San Lawrenz Local Council (Malta).
L'iniziativa, che si colloca nell'ambito del programma comunitario Gioventù in Azione 2007-2013, intende favorire lo scambio di idee e il confronto sulle buone pratiche sostenendo le proposte creative dei giovani provenienti da Sardegna, Baleari, Malta, Corsica e Turchia.
L'Assessorato alle Politiche Giovanili intende selezionare cinque giovani per la costituzione di un gruppo che parteciperà alle attività previste dal progetto che avranno luogo dal18 al 21 settembre 2009 a Palma di Maiorca.
Il seminario prevede scambi di buone pratiche sulle politiche giovanili in materia di imprenditoria tra gli operatori del settore e laboratori di creatività e di impresa.
Dai lavori, scaturirà un documento destinato ai rispettivi governi contenente riflessioni, idee e critiche costruttive riguardanti le politiche di creazione di impresa per i giovani.
Possono partecipare alla selezione coloro che abbiano un'età compresa tra i 18 e i 30 anni, residenti nell'Unione Europea, domiciliati in Sardegna, con una buona conoscenza della lingua inglese e animati dalla passione per l'imprenditorialità e la creazione di impresa.
Il modulo di partecipazione scaricabile all'indirizzo http://centrogiovani.comune.cagliari.it, dovrà essere consegnato unitamente a un documento di identità valido e al curriculum vitae del candidato entro e non oltre il 25 luglio 2009 presso gli uffici del Centro Giovani in via Dante 11 a Cagliari. Il progetto Utopia nasce nel 2008 con l'intento di superare i limiti che l'insularità impone alla creatività dei giovani e con gli obiettivi di stimolare la cooperazione europea nell'ambito delle politiche giovanili, promuovere la cittadinanza attiva e favorire la conoscenza di giovani di diversi paesi. Già nel settembre dello scorso anno, ragazzi provenienti da Sardegna, Baleari, Corsica e Malta si incontrarono a Cagliari per una tre giorni all'insegna dello scambio di idee e del confronto su "come supportare la creatività dei giovani residenti nelle isole ".

This training course is aimed at enabling the participants to develop and realise an Action 1.3 Youth Democracy project.
The objectives of the training course are:
• To explore the added value of Youth Democracy projects for the local community
• To acquire project management and communication competencies
• To develop understanding about the principles of youth participation
• To learn about the Youth in Action Programme and especially about the quality criteria of Action 1.3 Youth Democracy project
• To share and transfer experiences of activities undertaken in the local community
• To create a space for contact making and finding potential partners for Youth Democracy projects
• To develop an action plan to realise a Youth Democracy project
HOW?
The programme is designed to give you knowledge and skills to develop and realise your Youth Democracy project after the course. The following elements can be in the programme:
* YOUTH IN ACTION programme. You will get information about the YOUTH IN ACTION programme and particularly the criteria of Action 1.3 Youth Democracy projects
* Concept of participation. You will reflect on the concept of youth participation to get a better understanding.
* Project management. You will reflect on current needs in your local community. You will define concrete project ideas to answer those needs. You will set up the first steps development of your Youth Democracy project.
* Teamwork and the partnerships. You will be given suggestions to help work in teams (at local and international level): decision-making process, division of tasks, and cooperation between the partner groups.
* Intercultural setting. You will meet people from all over Europe to exchange experiences, work on participation, develop future actions etc
* Contact making. You will get to know each other projects and organisations and will have the opportunity to further develop cooperation with them.
The course will be based on the principles and practice of non-formal education taking into account your needs, motivations and previous experiences as starting point of the programme. A diversity of working methods will be used for learning about Youth Democracy project management: thinking together, brainstorming, creating new ideas, discussions, debates, simulations, etc. You will be supported actively to work on concrete projects and enabled to apply for Action 1.3 of the YOUTH IN ACTION programme. There will be space for regular feedback and evaluations.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Young people, youth leaders, youth workers, representatives of associations, student councils, youth councils and public officers:
* willing to apply for an Action 1.3 Youth Democracy project after the course,
* representing an organisation or a local authority or a group of young people,
* able to talk and work in English,
* live in any of the YOUTH IN ACTION programme countries: 27 EU countries + Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey.
Costs
Sending costs (travel costs, insurance) can be covered by the National Agencies sending participants to the training course (please check with your NA). Hosting costs (accommodation, food, program activities, and local transport) will be covered by the hosting National Agency.

PROJECT SUMMARY
Movement for international sea cleaning named International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) was initiated by Ocean Conservancy. Since founded, ICC has been implemented in over 100 countries. In Vietnam, VFCD program has already started this activity in Ha Long bay- a famous World Heritage.With mysterious and wonderful scenery, it's reasonable for UNESCO to recognize Ha Long Bay as a world heritage. However, Ha Long bay is suffering from consequences of human activities. Due to the fast economic development and tourism, the environment of Ha Long bay has been affected seriously, especially with floating garbage on the area along the Northern shore of the heritage.
VFCD cooperates with Ha Long Bay Management Board to ensure that the VFCD's volunteer program for preserving world heritage will be sustainably implemented in Ha Long. With the participation of local people and international volunteers, this program is expected to contribute to protecting this treasure for future generations.
The main goal of the program is to contribute to improving people's awareness on environmental protection, especially the young people in the community living near the heritage site. Activities with VFCD to clean the beach can not immediately solve the problems affecting the environment, but this event can help educate the people and raise their awareness about the seriousness of environment preservation. The main program's message is "build up awareness on environmental protection through real activities" This is also a statement of VFCD with the commitment to keep water clean and sustainable for long-term.

Hạ Long Bay is located in the northeastern part of Vietnam and constitutes part of the western bank of Bắc Bộ Gulf, including the sea area of Hạ Long City and Cẩm Phả Town and part of Vân Ðồn island district. It abuts Cát Bà Island in the southwest. Toward the west is the shore with a 120 km-long coastline. It is located within 106o58’-107o22’ east longitude and within 20o45’- 20o50’ north latitude. The site is 1553 sq. km with 1969 islands of various sizes, of which 989 have been named.
The islands in Hạ Long Bay are mainly limestone and schist islands most lying in the two main areas: the southeastern part of Bái Tử Long Bay and southwestern part of Hạ Long Bay. These islands represent the most ancient images of a geographical site having a tectonic age of from 250 million to 280 million years. They are the result of many times of rising and lowering processes of the continent to form a karst. The process of nearly full erosion and weathering of the karst created the unique Hạ Long Bay in the world. In a not very large area, thousands of islands with different forms look like glittering emeralds attached to the blue scarf of a virgin. The area where many stone islands concentrate has spectacular scenes and world-famous caves and is the center of Hạ Long Bay Natural Heritage, including Ha Long Bay and a part of Bái Tu Long Bay.
The area is recognized as the World Natural Heritage that is the area of 434 sq. km with 775 islands. It looks like a giant triangle with Ðầu Gỗ Island (in the west), Ba Hầm Lake (in the south) and Cống Tây Island (in the east) as its three angle points. The nearby area is the buffer area and areas classified as national beauty spots in 1962 by the Ministry of Culture and Information
SVE breve in Kosovo

In Kosovo per 10 settimane questa estate.
Il fine settimana scorso, dal 29 maggio al primo giugno, ho fatto una visita sul campo del nostro prossimo progetto SVE di breve durata, in Kosovo.
Il progetto è veramente una fantastica opportunità per conoscere da vicino le montagne dei Balcani, le Alpi Albanesi che, vi assicuro, sono bellissime.
Se vi apassiona la natura o se volete conoscere a fondo la cultura speciale dell'islam albanese moderato (molto moderato, a giudicare dalle birre bevute e dal look dei giovani, ragazze incluse), allora il progetto del Parco dei Balcani per la Pace, che si svolgerà in Kosovo ma con "puntate" importanti in Montenegro e in Albania, è l'occasione giusta.
I 6 volontari del gruppo internazionale (Italia, Germania, Lituania, Bulgaria, Polonia e Grecia) affiancheranno l'associazione ERA, nostro partner, nelle sue attività estive che vanno dai campi di educazione ambientale per ragazzi, al monitoraggio della fauna selvatica (orsi e lupi per citare gli animali più grossi), dalla realizzazione di documentari naturalistici con registi professionisti, alla più sedentaria creazione di un sito web per l'associazione, dalla realizzazione di sentieri naturalistici alla costruzione di bungalow in legno tipo capanno canadese... Insomma, ce n'è per tutti i gusti.
Chi fosse interessato dovrà contattarci immediatamente dato che la ricerca del volontario verrà fatta entro il prossimo 15 giugno (ma, se siete il volontario giusto, potrà chiudersi anche prima).
Cercherò di allegare tra oggi e domani qualche foto, così capirete di cosa parlo quando parlo di Alpi! (Brrr...)
La partenza è prevista per il 6 Luglio e si rimarrà in Kosovo due mesi e mezzo, quindi una bella estate alternativa...
