A dream called Nasutow....
Submitted by elena on Mon, 22/03/2010 - 17:50
>I remember the moment I first saw your faces. It was late at night, you were tired and so was I. A lot of new people, 5 groups talking in their languages, voices I didn't recognized. That was the first moment I thaught: Where am I? What am I doing here? Who would have thaught at that moment that in a few days these people would become so attatched to each other? Gradually, day by day, I got used to you. Waking up in the morning and saying: "Hello!" or "Good mornin'!" instead of Polish "Dzień dobry!" (yeah, Polish language :D). Smiling to you as I knew we would spend days together. Sitting with you during meals, listening to your national languages, your voices even if I didn't know about what you were discussing. Of course, you could have been saying: "That girl sitting next to us is soooo annoying, always here, always smiling!" but I didn't care. All that was important for me was the possibility to see you again and again. At the begenning it was difficult to become accustomed to translations of translations :) Like in our drama workshops with Italian and Portugal group, constant murmurs were audible. I saw that Hania wasn't prepared for that, always trying to make you quiet :) But for me it was so much fun! I was sitting there watching you and I could see that during this class you changed a lot. At first - laughs and giggles were everywhere. Especially 2 certain boys were making a lot of noise :P Later you've started to take it more seriously. You really got into it. I think that everyone could see how much I liked translating. Even though sometimes I was the only one (two with Agata:P) that could translate (when 2 We-Know-Which-Grils resigned of the project) I really was happy and enjoyed it so much! I want to be translator in future. Now I know I have a lot of work to do to become better in English. The next time we meet I'll be the best of the best ^___^ Last days were really difficult - we had to deal with some problems that was left to us by These-Girls. We slept not much, had to make calls all time and couldn't praticipate in the workshops and energizers. I'm sooooo sorry for not being there with you :( I regret having all this responsibility that sometimes became a burden for all of us. BUT!!! all these sad moments were nothing compared to happy ones. During national evenings I was very, very touched when you gave me presents (we shared them between us three, ofc, but I was the one who received them ^^"). I can't forget your sweets (especially Sardinian ones :D - "Agata, what happened..." xD and Lativian cranberries in sugar). All of our nights: karaoke, talent show, national dances... all were magical and spending them with you was the most thrilling experince. Everything ended just fine. We should have more photos (unfortunately my camera broken down after first week of constant usage :D). Thank you for all your presents, smiles, notes written on my arms (Luca, Azzu, Rares, Hugo :)). Thank you for letting me be with you at the airport to wave my hand in goodbye. For all hugs, kisses, tears, glances... I want you to know that no matter what I really like you. I wasn't crying when we parted, there was no need for my tears. And you know why? Because I knew from the start that we would end up like this, slowly forgetting about each other, returning to our normal lives at school, at universities, at work. It's nothing wrong with that. Natural state of things. I also knew what I said to Andreea. Let me quote her because she wrote it more beautifully than I could :) "I know everyone felt sad when we left Nasutow, but remember: don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened. Somebody told me that we are supposed to meet one person at least two times. So let me believe this was only first time. I hope that someday and somehow we will meet again and we will remind each other all the moments we have spent together. You know, there some people and some moments which aren't supposed to be forgotten due to the way they influenced your life." ~ Andreea, Romania (copied from HERE) I've cried for real only one time, during one sad Italian song. That time I was so happy and sad at one moment that my feelings started to overflow... Thank you two for worrying about me at that time, for letting me hide my tears.
I hope that we can meet again this year. I would like to visit you in your countries during holidays:) Please, let me stay by your side. For you I'll always be here and I'll listen to all your news about your lousy teachers, problems with stupid boss, cheerful meeting with friends and these stupid little things that make our days :) Jola http://pchlaxxx.blog.onet.pl/
